The Draft Landscape Conservation Action Plan

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you have had a great festive period.

Work on the Moor than meets the eye landscape partnership bid is in the final stages to get it ready for submission to the Heritage Lottery Fund on 16th January. Steve Scoffin, the Project Manager has been busy writing the detailed application which is based around a document called the Landscape Conservation Action Plan which sets out the importance of this scheme, why it is needed and what it will achieve. The document is still a work in progress with the last chapters still to be added over the next few days. The final document will be agreed by the Landscape Partnership Board on January 8th.

There will be a chance to meet the project team and the project partners at Ashburton Town Hall on Wednesday 8th January 7pm-9pm and find out more about the final proposals which will be submitted to the Lottery on the 16th and what happens next.
